The test instrument ElectroForce® 3100 is the smallest product in the ElectroForce family, measuring less 50.8 cm tall. The testing machine 3100 fit on a table-top or desk, thanks to practically maintenance-free operation, it's extremely lab friendly. The testing instrument is well suited for microcharacterization of devices and materials, because of exceptional (up to 22 N) control resolution static maximum force. Typical instrument's applications include:
Micro-indentation of cartilage, also of other soft tissues;
Tissue mechanics research;
Medical devices durability testing;
Mech. stimulation of tissue engin. constructs;
