The flanged gear coupling FST series with ESCO MULTICROWN tooth form. Bore up to 1 130 mm., maximum torque - 5 040 000 Nm.

The ESCO MULTICROWN tooth form for long life is a curve with constantly changing curvature radius. The tooth contact area under misaligned conditions has a much larger curvature radius than conventional crowning. The contact area therefore is larger this reducing the surface stresses.
ESCO generates the ESCO MULTICROWN, tooth in such a way that the necessary characteristics for homocinetic conjugate tooth action are perfectly achieved.
The ESCO MULTICROWN tooth design requires minimum backlash for a given misalignment angle than the conventional crowning, this reducing shocks in reversing applications.
