Electrical imaging system ERT "POLARES" with the following applications:
· Archaeological surveys;

· Shallow detailed investigations of ground's pollutant plums;
· Monitoring and mapping of salty water contamination in the groundwater reservoirs from coastal areas;

· Waste site deposit monitoring.
Until now, the electrical imaging of geophysical explorations have been using the traditional method for data acquiring. The new electrical imaging system POLARES uses a sinusoidal alt. current of variable frequency. The use of alt. current had shown extremely advantages, in particular considering the greater velocity of acquisitions, and that may increase of ten times in respect of DC standard measuring time.

Available configurations: from 16 electrodes to 256.
