Level switch for use in explosion proof areas

This Trimod Besta level switch features a component certified micro switch mounted in a housing with increased safety, and carries the rating EEx ed. Other Trimod Besta switches for use in explosion proof areas are Type I, intrinsically safe switches with rating EEx ia, Type XA, installed in a flame proof enclosure with rating EEx de, as well as XI, with type tested initiators, rated EEx ia d.

All mentioned switches were tested and certified by Germany's PTB and carry individual ATEX approvals. Our pneumatically operated switches Types M, P are also available for use in hazardous area and carry Besta's manufacturer declaration.
